When You Assume, You…Tend to Miss Data Sufficiency Questions

Many Data Sufficiency questions are structured so that examinees will fall prey to common, incorrect assumptions, that unknown variables will be positive integers. In order to protect against this, jot down those two words – “Positive” and “Integer” on the top of your noteboard, and double-check them each time to ensure that you haven’t incorrectly made those assumptions.
