Yesterday, William Polk Carey (founder of W.P. Carey & Co. LLC), announced a $50 million donation to Johns Hopkins University, for the creation of a business school. Johns Hopkins is well-known for its medical and education programs, and this is a good time for them to add a third graduate program. Their program aims to utilize cross-disciplinary education in addition to traditional business education, producing leaders who are well-rounded. The search is now on to find a dean capable of building this program from scratch.
